There are many tourist destinations in Melbourne. Among them st.kilda beach, brighton beach, Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG), Puffin Billy Railway, Eureka tower, Dandedong range etc are the famous places for tourist .

1. Yarra River

Board one of the many river craft at Southgate or Princes Walk or travel along the Yarra in your own boat to visit attractions such as Melbourne Park for the Australian Tennis Open, the Royal Botanical Gardens and Herring Island Park. The Yarra River is now the undisputed social heart of marvellous Melbourne. A Melbourne icon, the river is the focus for numerous spectacular events including the famous Moomba festival, rowing regattas, the Melbourne Festival and Dragon Boat Festivals. The Yarra River offers a multitude of picturesque settings. The banks of the river have a number of barbecue and picnic facilities, fishing platforms and jettys. In addition, there are trails and paths which cater for cyclists, walkers and joggers.

2.St.kilda

1. St.kilda beach is located in Melbourne. It is one of the famous destinations for the foreigner as well as for the internal. the environment of St.kilda beach is too nice .Many people are enjoying every day there. I also like to go to this beach when I am free.

3.Puffin Billy Puffin billy is one of the major attractions for the tourist. It is located at Dandedong Range . puffin billy was built over 100 yrs ago. it was close in middle but now operating well. we can go to puffin billy from flinders street through metro .we can enjoy the old train through the huge forest and from there we can learn how was the ancient Australia was.

• 4 Royal Botanic GardenIt is located on the bank of  Yarra River. In the past it is know as  botanic garden but now days its is known as Royal Botanic Garden. we can enjoy cycle inside the royal botanic garden. we feel very happy when we are on the botanic garden. we can see different types of plants in this garden.

5.MCG(Melbourne Cricket Ground)
MCG is one of the largest and famous sports arena in the world....especially for the cricket.every year many games are held in this stadium.. it is  near to the flinders street..the scence of MCG is too much good in Boxing day test every year. many big cricket tournaments are held here in the past and are schedule to be held in the coming year also. many sports lovers have dream to go to MCG and watch match there..
